Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of oro-jin.com (the “Site”), operated by Oro-Jin LLC, a New York limited liability company (“Oro-Jin,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. The Site and our services

The Site provides general information about Oro-Jin and our lead intelligence, recruiting and operating-model services. Any engagement for services, including subscriptions and placements, is governed by a separate written agreement between you and Oro-Jin. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement controls.

2. Information on the Site

Content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice. Examples on the Site, including the signal feed and the sample daily brief, are illustrative and do not describe real leads or clients. We aim to keep the Site accurate and current but make no guarantee that it is complete or error-free, and we may change it at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Site in any way that breaks the law or infringes anyone’s rights;
copy, scrape, harvest or systematically collect content or data from the Site;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or any related systems;
interfere with the Site’s operation, including by introducing malware or overloading it;
impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

4. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and the ORO-JIN™ name and marks, are owned by or licensed to Oro-Jin LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own internal, non-commercial use. You may not otherwise copy, modify, distribute or use our content or marks without our prior written permission.

5. Third-party services and links

The Site links to services run by others, such as Google Calendar for booking consultations. We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Bookings and communications

Booking a consultation does not create a client relationship or an obligation for either party to proceed. Please do not send us confidential information until we have agreed terms in writing.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR FREE OF ERRORS OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORO-JIN LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Oro-Jin harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
