ORO-JIN™

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 21, 2026

Oro-Jin LLC (“Oro-Jin,” “we,” “us”) is a New York limited liability company providing lead intelligence, recruiting and operating-model services. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website at oro-jin.com, our communications, and our services.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you book a consultation, email us, or become a client, we collect what you provide, such as your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry.

Bookings. Consultations are scheduled through Google Calendar’s booking page. Google processes the information you enter there under its own privacy policy, and we receive your booking details.

Website data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google’s servers. We do not use advertising cookies or sell website visitor data.

Public-record business information (lead intelligence). Our core service monitors official public sources, such as government business registries, permit and licensing records, and trademark filings, in the United States, Canada, Brazil and elsewhere. These records can include the names and business contact details of company owners, officers, directors, applicants and other people associated with a business. We compile, verify and organize this information and deliver it to our subscribers, together with the source and record ID.

Recruiting. If you are a candidate, we collect the information you or a referrer provide (for example your CV, work history, contact details and preferences) and information from professional and public sources, so we can match you with roles.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries, schedule and hold consultations, and provide our services;
  • produce and deliver lead-intelligence reports to subscribers;
  • identify, assess and introduce candidates for roles, with their involvement;
  • manage our client relationships, invoicing and payments;
  • operate, secure and improve our website and services;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How we share information

  • Subscribers. Public-record business information, including the names and business contact details of people associated with a business, is shared with our subscribing clients as part of the lead-intelligence service.
  • Hiring clients. Candidate information is shared with prospective employers in connection with a specific role.
  • Service providers. We use trusted providers for hosting (GoDaddy), email, calendar and file storage (Google Workspace), and payment processing. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of our business.

We do not sell the personal information of our website visitors or the people who contact us.

4. If you appear in our lead data

If you are a business owner, officer or other person named in a public record we monitor, and you would prefer not to appear in our reports, email aleks@oro-jin.com with the subject “Lead data opt-out.” Include your name and the business or record concerned. We will remove you from future reports and suppress your details from our files, unless we must keep them for a legal reason.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to or restrict certain uses, including opting out of our lead-intelligence reports;
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it;
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email aleks@oro-jin.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You can unsubscribe from our marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by replying to us.

6. Data security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls and secured company devices and accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law. Lead records are refreshed and expire as underlying public records change.

7. International transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may store information in the United States and other countries. When information about people in Canada, Brazil or elsewhere is transferred to the United States, we take reasonable steps to protect it as described in this policy.

8. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above.
